I am not an attorney. Can I still become a member?
Yes: The Hispanic Bar Association of Orange County accepts non-attorneys as members. Non-attorney members are called "affiliate members" and can take advantage of our member discounts for our social mixers, educational events, and other networking opportunities. To qualify as an affiliate member you must be a paralegal, court reporter, legal assistant, be employed in the legal profession or a provider of goods and services to the legal profession. An affiliate member cannot hold an elected office within the OC HBA and has no voting rights.
How do I become a member of the OC HBA?

How do I update my member information?

What types of events does the OC HBA hold?
The OC HBA holds an annual Scholarship Fundraiser & Installation Dinner in the beginning of March. We also hold an annual "Judges Bar-B-Q", where the association honors one judge from the OC legal community for his or her exceptional service to the legal community. Another annual event is our "End of Summer Joint Mixer", where we invite other affiliate bar associations in Orange County to co-host the event. In addition to these annual events, the OC HBA holds periodic social mixers throughout the year. Please visit our Events page for more information about our upcoming events.
When is the renewal period for OC HBA Membership dues?
The fiscal year is from January 1 through December 31. Renewals are due January 1st of each year. Membership will be canceled if dues are not paid by this time.
Is the OC HBA affiliated with the Orange County Bar Association?
Yes: The OC HBA is an Orange County Bar Association affiliate bar association.
