The California Judicial Competition (CJC) is a statewide YMCA Appellate Court competition program, taking place in Anaheim, CA and is hosted by the California YMCA Youth & Government in partnership with several Southern California Law Firms.  2018 is the inaugural year for the competition.

This program brings together high school students from around the state to face off in an appellate court competition. Teams of two will compete against their peers in Moot Court trials as well have the chance to show off their understanding of the case and case law as justices.

In order for this event to offer true court simulation, attorney and law school student volunteers are needed, that’s where you come in! Please see below and indicate when you would be available and interested in volunteering.
